Rep. Greg Gianforte (R-MT) used language similar to this in front of the House Judiciary Committee. He also said Democrats were consumed by “impeachment fever” when they should be investigating the CIA, FBI, and Special Counsel.

Gary Marbut is upset about the Montana School Board Association’s challenge to LR-130. (You’re on your own to research that mess.) So, in a fine fit of illogic, he said he’s “on the verge” of urging MSSA members to vote out local school board trustees. You’re on your own to figure that out, too.

Attorney General Tim Fox faces two opponents in the Republican primary race for Governor. Greg Gianforte recently was endorsed by pro-life Susan B. Anthony List. Soon after, Fox announced that Montana was joining the lawsuit to uphold North Carolina’s law prohibiting abortions after 20 weeks. Meanwhile, Al Olszewski sent his wife to protest the SBAL endorsement of Gianforte.

Along with other hopefuls, Gov. Steve Bullock failed to qualify for the September Democratic debate in Houston. Only ten candidates will be on stage.

Following Pres. Trump’s belittling of wheat exports to Japan, Sen. Jon Tester invited him to visit Montana. The idea is to open Trump’s eyes to the importance of the Japanese market. That idea may have merit, but it would be overshadowed by the gloom of Trump’s presence in Montana once again.

With his polls flying under the radar, Gov. Bullock may want to pull a Hickenlooper and  detour his ambitions from the White House to the Senate.

In the wake of recent mass shootings, Gary Marbut and the Montana Shooting Sports Association apparently believe that mass gatherings in America should include mass weaponry. When will this idiocy end?

Rep. Matt Regier (R-Kalispell) correctly anticipated that the governor would veto HB325, which prohibited any local government regulation of firearms, such as background checks. Regier had an ace up his sleeve, HB357, which put the same language in a referendum for November (Legislative Referendum 130). The issue is currently in court. Meanwhile, people keep getting shot.  Vote NO on LR-130.
