Rep. Greg Gianforte (R-MT) [along with Sen. Steve Daines (R-MT)] had high praise for Pres. Trump’s pardon of the Oregon arsonists.

After the Land Board rejected the conservation easement on the Stenson Ranch, Gov. Bullock approved it by executive order.  (And yes, I did a bit of recycling here – it’s all about conservation.)

U.S. Representative Greg Gianforte (R-MT) has yet to hold an in-person “town hall.” He makes few public appearances in Montana – for the reason he stated above.

US Sen. Steve Daines (R-MT) announced plans to visit Russia over the Independence Day congressional break.  Guess we won’t see him at any picnics in Montana.

Donald Trump Jr. headlined the GOP Platform Convention in Billings to stump for Matt Rosendale, GOP nominee for US Senate.

Matt Rosendale, GOP candidate for US Senate, touts his profession as “rancher.”  All hat and no cattle.

To get technical, Bullock’s order prohibits state contracts with companies or individuals who contribute to “dark money” political operatives.

No doubt it will be a spirited campaign for the US Senate.  Let’s hope it’s also a civil campaign.

Matt Rosendale has run ads touting how thrifty he is, even having his wife buzz-cut his hair.

University of Montana’s Crown of the Continent and Greater Yellowstone Initiative commissioned a poll that showed widespread support for keeping Wilderness Study Areas as they are.  Daines and Gianforte promptly trashed the results.
