Rep. Greg Gianforte (R-MT) and Sen. Steve Daines (R-MT) are masters of B&D: Bloviate and Dissemble. Unfortunately, the eviscerated Montana media outlets seem resigned to carry their water.

The Republican ‘leaders’ of the Montana Legislator sent a letter to the Governor, calling his measures to mitigate coronavirus “arbitrary” and “unconstitutional.”  They requested directives to get Montana’s economy rolling again.

It’s a mystery. The Green Party disavows its placement on the ballot. The Club for Growth said it stopped its petition scam on February 5th.  UPDATE: It was the Republican Party. Surprise!

Republican Greg Gianforte tries again to win the statehouse. He’s sitting on quite a bankroll to finance his purchase.

With all their sniping, spying, and backbiting, Montana’s Public Service Commissioners aren’t serving the public much.  Doesn’t keep them from banking their $109,000 salaries.

Yesterday, Rep. Rodney Garcia (R-Nutcase) backpedaled. In a demented letter to media outlets, he said the whole idea of shooting socialists “was a well received joke.” If you’re unfamiliar with the First Rule of Holes, it reads, “When in one, stop digging!”

Sen. Steve Daines (R-MT) has been toadying along ever since Trump’s inauguration. It doesn’t seem likely to change soon.

Donald Trump has endorsed Matt Rosendale in the U.S. House race before the primary (blowing off the other five Republican candidates). Not that an endorsement from POTUS SHMOTUS is any great blessing.

Despite pressure from Republican leadership (and everyone else), Rep. Rodney Garcia vowed he would resign “only if God asked me to.”

Rep. Rodney Garcia (R-Nutcase) stated this at a big Republican gathering in Helena on February 1.  The next day, speaking to a reporter, he doubled down on his diatribe.  It’s really too bad that guys like this get elected … but it’s also rather entertaining.
