In 1999, the Montana Supreme Court decided Armstrong v. State. All seven justices agreed that Montana’s constitutional right of privacy protects a woman’s right to obtain an abortion from the health-care provider of her choosing. Attorney General Knudsen has filed a brief importuning the Court to overturn that decision.
