At the signing of the Big Ugly Bill, Speaker Johnson gave Trump the gavel he used to mark passage of this disastrous legislation. Seems symbolic of the Congressional Republicans’ complete capitulation.

All four of Montana’s congressmen toed the Trump line and voted for the worst legislation in history.

Governor Gianforte vetoed House Bill 551; it would have covered the co-pay for students’ reduced-cost lunches. This would have helped both families and school districts at a fairly low annual cost.
