Among the multitude of godawful appointments made by Trump, at least this one seems pretty okay.

Gov. Gianforte tossed the ACLU representative from this council, replacing him with a delegate from the Alliance Defending Freedom, an Arizona-based conservative Christian legal advocacy group.

Trump’s attitude toward Canada, along with the general depravity of his administration, have resulted in drastically fewer Canadians gracing the USA with their presence – and their dollars.

Meanwhile, the Public Service Commission seems quite befuddled.

While Montana’s delegation congratulated itself that public lands would not be going on sale, Sen. Steve Daines kowtowed to donors and inserted language in the Big Ugly Bill enabling widespread, low-cost leasing.

At the signing of the Big Ugly Bill, Speaker Johnson gave Trump the gavel he used to mark passage of this disastrous legislation. Seems symbolic of the Congressional Republicans’ complete capitulation.

All four of Montana’s congressmen toed the Trump line and voted for the worst legislation in history.
