In 1987, Ronald Reagan nominated Robert Bork for Supreme Court justice; Bork’s ultraconservative ‘originalist’ views wrecked his chances. Now, 36 years later, the Court has come round to those views. Here’s one thing Bork did right, as opposed to the three Trump nominees: in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee, he answered honestly.
